Stable View has joined a network of over 1,500 farms, wineries, breweries, and venues in the Harvest Host community. This idea was brought to us by a wonderful family who made Stable View their home away from home as they started their travel nursing journey. Members of the Harvest Host community are able to stay here for 1 night, and in return they can purchase some Stable View merchandise or make a donation to a choice of two local charities. Or, a guest may request a full RV Hookup for a nightly rate. In return, guests can explore and enjoy the land that equestrians and environmental enthusiasts have come to treasure. Our hope is that Stable View continues to be a gathering place, and that new visitors can come and enjoy everything we have to offer.
Harvest Host Testimonials
“We would like to say, Cynthia was an outstanding host! Stable View Farm is a beautiful farm. The sunset view is amazing as parts of the farm overlook lower areas. We happen to be there this past weekend during a horse event. This event attracted riders, trainers, coaches, owners from all over the eastern half of the United States. The farm accommodated travel trailers, class a, b and c. With our class A, we opted to pay a minimal fee to have full hookup. The spot was very level, well designed site. My wife and I are in healthcare so practicing distancing, masking and other cdc recommended protocols are important to us. Everyone entering the farm had their temperature taken. Everyone was required to wear a mask while moving around the farm. All dogs were on a leash. This location is easy to get to from I-20. We recommend Stable View as an excellent Harvest Host location especially if anyone has an interest in anything related to the Equine industry.” -Eric M.
“Traveling to Georgia stopped over at Stable View. This place is amazing. We did pay for full hookups as we boondocking on our next stop. Would recommend this to anyone its quite and open you have plently of room. Will be stopping by on our next trip south.”-Alan L
“Stable View was a wonderful open horse training facility with plenty of space to park. There are seveal gates to enter the property but on gate 1 is gravel. we used gate 2 which was a sandy loam drive to the spots under the pine trees. Keep in mind the spots in the pasture by gate 2 are grassy ans sandy loam and you may need to level. communication was top notch and check in is very easy. We will be back to stay if coming through Akin.”-TinCup4042
